Kane graduated in 2018 with a Bachelor of Science in Finance from the University of Alabama and in 2020 graduated with a Master in Business Administration, also from the University of Alabama. He went on to work at the FedEx Express HQ in Memphis, Tennessee, as a Senior Financial Analyst for four years with direct report to the CFO of Express. Kane moved back to Alabama to be closer to family and pursue his passion for financial advising with the Smith Thornton Advisors team in July of 2024. Kane is currently on the Huntsville Hospital Foundation Development Board.
